Duskfade Trophies and Platinum
Master Clockmaker on PS5, 1,000G on Xbox, and a cleanup plan that waits for Grapple and Pendulum.
Duskfade’s trophy list is a collectathon wrapped around a short coming-of-age campaign. PlayStation 5 has 26 trophies (12 Bronze, 5 Silver, 8 Gold, 1 Platinum). Xbox and Steam list 25 achievements totaling 1,000 Gamerscore — the extra PS5 prize is Master Clockmaker, which simply requires every other trophy. Current player reports say you can finish the entire set on Story Mode, with no missable or glitched trophies found in launch week. That matters more than any single location tip: you can chase the story first and mop secrets after Pendulum and Grapple open old rooms.
This page is the cleanup map. Pair it with the collectibles guide for object types, the story walkthrough for region order, and the collectibles tracker if you want checkboxes instead of memory. Do not treat trophy names as a spoiler-free list — several Silvers fire on story beats. Skip the story section below until you have credits if you want the Clock Tower ending cold.
Time estimates without padding
Numbers already disagree in public coverage, so keep the range honest. A sightseeing campaign often lands around 12–15 hours. Weird Beluga described a first playthrough closer to 16–20 hours. Platinum-focused players who stay on Story Mode and skip extra wandering sometimes quote 9–12 hours. Completionists who hunt every yarn ball and card after credits can stretch toward a couple of dozen hours, especially because Duskfade has no mini-map. If a route feels slow, you are probably missing a later tool, not a hidden XP grind — Zirian does not level in the traditional sense.
Gold trophies: the real 100% work
These eight Golds (and their Xbox counterparts) are where time goes. Do them on a post-story loop once movement is complete.
Come Here Right Meow — catch all of Tailord’s kittens. Kittens reward yarn you trade for outfits. They bolt; approach from above or cut off their path rather than sprinting directly behind them. Leave any kitten sitting behind an orange crystal until Pendulum exists.
Master of Melody — return every music box to Arpeggio. You meet him in caves for the Bronze Can I Get Your Autograph?; the Gold is the full delivery set. Music boxes hide on ledges that look decorative until Grapple or a long-jump roll is online.
Collector — finish the card collection. Cards sit in chests Minutero can crack (the sword is the key — you do not farm a separate key item) and in side rooms you will walk past on the critical path. Mark rooms that felt “too empty” and return after the Clock Tower.
Shopaholic — buy all of the Traveler’s objects and upgrades. Star Shards and coins from crates fund this. The Traveler’s shop is useful early and mandatory for 100%. Do not dump every shard into luxury Minutero cosmetics before health and Temporal Energy are maxed.
A Clock Heart Piece a Day… — max the health bar. Three pieces still form one container in the opening hours; the full campaign hides additional Clock Heart Pieces across later biomes. Use the tracker and the dedicated heart page rather than guessing.
Advanced Clockmaking — max the Temporal Energy bar with Star Core Fragments. These are the energy analogue to heart pieces. They matter for gadget uptime and for the Gold itself.
The Most Beautiful Sword in the Land — find every Rainbow Ingot. One ingot can be bought from the Tick Town shop near the teleporter; others hide in the world. Ingots feed Minutero skins at the blacksmith anvil (Cloudphaestus) once Grapple lets you reach it beside the Inn.
Master XII’s Secret — uncover Gramps’ big secret. This is a story-adjacent Gold tied to Tristan / Master XII. Play the late-game beats around helping Gramps cross the Veil rather than hunting a random chest.
Silver trophies: story spine
These mostly fire as you restore time. Use them as a chapter checklist, not as side quests.
- We Fixed Time, Right? — break the Temporal Anchor in Tick Town.
- Back to School — find the Clockwork Academy (underwater academy in several write-ups).
- The Final Star — help Gramps cross the Veil.
- I Missed You — reunite with Cuckoo.
- Stick With Me — escape the Tower with Allira.
If a Silver refuses to pop, you skipped a named location, not a difficulty toggle. Story Mode still counts.
Bronze trophies: people, mischief, and one fall
Bronzes mix introductions and optional gags. They are why cleanup exists.
- Don’t Go There! — fall from the top of the Tower (optional, not a story fail).
- Can I Get Your Autograph? — find Arpeggio in the caves.
- Be My Muse! — help Tailord escape the Academy; he then returns to Tick Town.
- You’ve Got a Friend in Me — befriend N1-C0.
- Don’t Talk to Strangers — meet the mysterious desert explorer.
- We’re Coming for You, Despair — open the Tower doors.
- No Peeking! — find Wally in every hiding spot (a Where’s Wally nod).
- The Mask of Pain — dazzle Palette with your best outfit; see outfits.
- You Seem Familiar — confront the Cloudie with the strange crown.
- Heartless — break the Cloudie Guard’s pots (yes, all of them).
- You Seriously Didn’t See That One Coming? — kill Wilson.
- A Grandma’s Love — receive money from the Canyon granny.
None of these require a second difficulty run. They do require talking to NPCs twice after you gain a tool.
Efficient Platinum route
- Play the campaign on whatever difficulty you enjoy. Story Mode is enough for the Platinum. Spend Upgrade Gears on mobility before vanity damage.
- Grab obvious hearts, shards, and shop stock when you see them. Do not 100% Ezarus Forest before Pendulum.
- After credits, teleport through Tick Town, hit Tailord, Arpeggio, Palette, and the Traveler, then sweep Wally, Wilson, pots, and the granny.
- Finish remaining kittens, boxes, cards, Rainbow Ingots, hearts, and Star Cores.
- Confirm Master Clockmaker. Xbox players stop at 1,000G.
There are no cheat codes or password unlocks in current public lists. If a site promises “all 203 collectibles with a trainer,” ignore it — stick to in-game exploration and this wiki’s official links.
